DCSS How rare is it to find gold dragon armor on D:1?

I just started my bold adventure as an ice elementalist demigod, and
on dungeon lvl 1 i found some gold dragon armour. On a scale from 1 -
20, how uncommon (or rare) would you say that is?

I've been playing for about two years, and all I can say is that it's
never happened to me. What will you do, d'you think? Will you wear
it now and forgo the life of a caster for a while, or carry it and
eventually stash it in the hopes of someday raising your spellcasting
enough to beat the penalty?

I've actually gotten a crystal plate mail on D:1. Of course, I died
almost immediately :)

Not D:1, but I found this Dragon Armor on D:5 recently:

the +5 armour of the Dragon King (worn)
(You found it on level 5 of the Dungeon)
It increases your resistance to enchantments.

It also protected me from Cold, Fire and Poison and had a great AC to
start with.

Never had a better armor ever. Fun fact is, that Okawaru never stopped
to give me much inferior armor gifts. He was not much of help for me.

He also seems to be a bad choice for hunters. Got gifted with tons of +1
bolts. Thanks very much, I always had enough bolts to open a friggin
bolt-shop :-)

If you already have great armour like this, that's a good reason to skip
Okawaru, I'd say. Could have gone with Makhleb or with Trog (since casting
is out in that gear anyway).
